Zuleika Billingtonfrom Apple Valley, MN, is an Argentine English teacher who recently moved to Minnesota pursuing her dreams of a good education and experiencing cultural diversity. She currently volunteers at The Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota where her husband works as an Interpretive Naturalist. As part of her tasks, she cleans, educates the public about raptors and our influence on their environment, and helps develop English to Spanish raptor programs. |
Mike Billingtonfrom Apple Valley, MN, is an Interpretive Naturalist with The Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine. He was formally trained as an environmental educator at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center in Finland, Minnesota where he also earned a post-baccalaureate degree in Environmental Education from the University of Minnesota Duluth. He has been involved with studying or learning about the environment for over twelve years and has had the good fortune of being able to study environmental issues in Mexico and New Zealand. Most recently he taught as a guest naturalist for two years at La Lucena Environmental Learning Center in Argentina. |

Andrew Kang Bartlettfrom Louisville KY, is the national associate for the Presbyterian Hunger Program of the PC(USA). With a graduate degree in international relations, he has worked in the U.S. and Asia addressing community development, rural poverty, environmental justice, and human rights. Kang Bartlett lives in Kentucky with his wife and two sons. He is a seeker who loves beauty, justice, fellowship and food. |
Katharine Griswoldfrom Louisville KY, is retired from the USPCA as the personal manager of the central office. She has brought interpersonal skills and attentive natural abilities every day throughout her life. She also volunteers at a local nature center and provides education around birds and animals of the area, including raptors. |
Eunice Wagnerfrom Lake Mills, manages the Robert J. and Eunice J. Wagner Foundation whose mission is "to support educational and/or charitable work in the areas of peace-making, ...and promotion of environmental health and awareness." She was working at Warren Wilson College during Lise and David's last few years attending back in the 1980's. She has been a friend of SSS for over two decades! She brings a breath of wisdom and knowledge to the board. |
Nancy Trechselfrom Rockford MN, a mother, a wife and part of the founding folks that established the sister city program between Leon, Nicaragua and Minnesota. During the illegal war being raged by the US government which was destroying the infrustructure and the human fabric, Leon/Minnesota project was building relationships and installing pumps and generators in hospitals. She is retired and willing to continue serving SSS Board of Advisors. |
