Paddle for the Planet will need a lot of support financially and materially...

We will need about $15,000 to feed, house and cover expenses for the trip. We are also looking for inkind donations, use of equipment including $500 for scientific sample probes, solar panels, electrical equipment, an electric bike, a boat shell to build the solar research vessel and a ground vehicle to follow along the journey.

We already have fiscal support from Shalom Seed Sanctuary a 501(c)(3) non-profit orangization, financial and equipment donations from individuals for canoes and some other small equipment. North House Folk School has offered free paddle making classes and we continue to get help from Round River Renewables LLC for at cost equipment purchases. This summer we will be posting a complete and specific list of items we are looking to use on the trip. Maybe you will have something on that list that you want to donate or lend us for this journey?
Items we are looking for now...
1) Hybrid or a Diesel Car donated or at a minimal cost since we might need to convert it to run on used vegetable oil and we will be covering the car with advertisements and information about the trip
2) Pontoon Boat Frame or Sailboat that we can put solar panels on to run a electric motor and all of the research equipment
3) Tents and other Camping Items we will need a full spead of camping items for our 90 days along the river.
