will need monetary, material and mental support to not only accomplish our goal to paddle over 822 km, but also to provide education, research and media access along the way.
We are $3,000 closer (thanks to the Organic Consumers Association grant) toward our goal of raising $5,000 to enable us to develop, plan, and coordinate the "River Rally", create presentations, teach in the schools and identify and tool research along the river. We are asking people to join us for the RIVER RALLY with per/mile donations to fund non-profit organizations working on agriculture and energy issues. Additionally, we are seeking donations of scientific equipment, solar panels, electrical equipment, an electric bike, banners, tents, sleeping bags or other items. Items we are looking for now...
1) Solar equipment and other materials solar oven, electric bike, battery, cell phone and water tight computer bag, as well as a solar charging panels, storage containers, hats, sunglasses, etc.
2) Tents and other Camping Items we need a full spread of camping gear and food for the 38 day journey along the river.
